Zola Kefalonia
MAIN LOCATIONS & ATTRACTIONS
Zola is a small mountain village in the northwestern part of Kefalonia. It is built on a hill above the sea and the nearest beaches are Vouti and Agia Kyriaki (1 km). Agia Kyriaki is known as the place from where you can take a water taxi to the exotic beach of Fteri. Fteri is only accessible by sea or on foot. The route starts from the dirt road near the landfill of Kefalonia and heads northeast following a path and descending towards the beach. The whole route follows the small gorges formed between the small hills of the area. The vegetation is usually low and bushy, but in the gorge it is richer and denser. The beach with its white sand and clear blue waters is a small hidden paradise (alltrails.com).
Zola is 20 minutes by car from Lixouri and 15 minutes by car from the place where the panoramic view of Myrtos is revealed.
